Like most surfers I usually come up against troubles when carrying my surfboards during my surf trips. Oversized luggage, additional transport fees, difficulties to stock the boards at the hotel, etc… it always makes your trip more complicated when you travel with your surfboards.

In 2015, after a few month surf trip in the United States, I decided to create Marty SurfDelivery. The concept is to offer surfers who come to surf the amazing waves of the Basque & Landes coast the possibility to book and rent a high quality surfboard from the large quiver directly on the website.

The home delivery service offers more comfort for the surfers (delivery between 7am and 11pm) so they can spend more time in the water and less time looking for a surfboard.

Moreover, I always take time to explain people how the waves work here in the Basque country (forecast, wind, tides, peak wave period) so they can appreciate their stay to its fullest.

The surf guide service came all naturally. Since many surfers were asking me where the best places to go surfing, I decided to take them there. The idea is to experience a day of surf as a local guy would live it: surf the best spots of the moment, go to the best places for local foods, hang out in the coolest spots…
